Crossover Workshop under Kortfilmfestivalen

I samarbeid med Kortfilmfestivalen og Innovasjon Norge Agder arrangerer Sørnorsk filmsenter heldagsseminar i Grimstad 20. juni :

“Crossover workshop: An introduction to innovation in digital media”.

Here is your opportunity to:

Experiment - Think of interactivity in fresh ways
Exchange knowledge  and share skillsets
Explore new project development techniques and design processes
Foster new collaborations and business opportunities
Discover new frontiers and help define future interactive media

Facilitated by Crossover leaders Heather Croall and Mark Atkin, this one-day Crossover introduction workshop will be participatory and highly interactive, consisting of creative group exercises designed to:
break down walls between various professional silos
establish the best possible environment for creative collaboration by developing a common language and perspective among professionals
build a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities for storytelling in a rapidly evolving media ecology
foster new collaborations.

How can film makers and interactive producers work together and develop projects for new media? What’s the reality of “360”, cross-platform development and commissioning? How has storytelling moved beyond conventional platforms to engage new audiences by embracing games, mobile platforms and social media? This workshop will provide a solid introduction to Crossover’s open, directed collaborative methodology and will primarily feature group exercises. The end result: filmmakers and new media creators thinking about existing and potential projects in new ways!
